We didn't forget about the other bags you need!
You see, somewhere along the path to reusable bags we forgot about those evil clear bags that we use for our produce and bulk items. Hello? That doesn’t make sense. Some of you superstars are bringing back your plastic bags to the stores to use over. Fabulous. I applaud you and keep up the good work. For the rest of us, there is another option which does not involve associating with those wicked (I mean wicked-bad, not wicked-good) little things.
Open the front pocket of the ‘shopping bag' – and magic (not really but I did get your attention) there is a set of six cotton reusable bags, some solid and some net. We call these 'pog-sacs' (as in produce or grain) and they are for your fruits, vegetables, herbs, grains, legumes, nuts… anything that you would normally use a plastic or paper bag. It all makes a whole lot of sense.
And what about you spontaneous sorts that never plan for the quick shop and constantly find yourselves without a bag? Don’t fret; we have the 'no more excuses' bag for you to keep in your purse or even a jacket pocket. It’s a long handled string bag much like ones used by Europeans for decades. It is nice and compact and will hold the equivalent of one grocery store plastic bag. Voila, no more excuses!
